1) you ask them if they have had sex. Plus maybe someone else who knows them and who is reliable source can fill you in.

2) yeah--I would say it is very sensitive the first time.

3) Shy is not really the big thing--they may be shy but mostly likely they are just doing something new and they they are a little scared maybe. But it does not mean that they are shy in the least. A lot of guys or girls are very explicit and talk a lot but when it comes down to it, they are sometimes just afraid and uncomfortable doing the unknown.
Plus there is nothing wrong with ABSTINENCE either b/c that is really important.

Of course its sensative the first time...it hurts like a mofo...when a guy is a virgin having sex with the virgin he's gonna get a tightness feeling on his penis...if he isn't but has sex with a virgin...I am guessing he gets that same feeling but not much...but he is trying to shove his penis inside her...and thats a little complicating for him...after all that and they do it again...she doesn't hurt no more she just lost her cherrie...and he won't feel tight and she won't be tight....there's more...but its kinda hard to describe.

Well this is just for teenage guys; They can't stop talking about sex girls or anything sexual. They feel like they have to act all manly and macho to make the world think that they have become men. You can mention the subject, not asking them, and see how they respond to it. Say something referring to particulars, like: I hate it when____ or You know when_____. Their reactions should say a lot. It may not be sensitive for them, but they may be shy. Most likely, they need a confidence booster, so help them out. Make things less awkward for them.
