Personally, I will go with Steinway, with Bosendorfer in a close second place and Yamaha in third place.
It's difficult to say which is the best brand since the materials used and the craftsman's skill affects the touch and timbre of the piano. Ultimately, you will have to play it to like it.

The one you're playing now. A piano is a machine. It is YOU who makes it what it is. I'd rather hear a good player play the hell out of a lousy piano than a lousy player banging away on a $25,000 Steinway.

I've got a Yamaha. It's a baby grand, black, and I love it. Great sound; not too bright, not too dull, and the pedals work just the way you want them to.
Baldwins I don't like all that much. Steinways are of course wonderful, but who can afford one? mm.... yeah, I like Yamaha the best. :)

Steinways are the granddaddies, absolutely excellent instruments.
A CLOSE second, despite some personal preference listed above.......BALDWIN. Outstanding!
