To gain 35-40 pounds in 1.5 months?

I train during the summer, high carb/protein diet. I work out 4 days a week. I jog every morning from 5am - 6:30am. I then do dry training which involves another 45 mins of skip rope.
Whats absent is my old ice training when I played hockey before I quit to focus on my studies.

Im pretty sure the weight is healthy, but a few of my friends have stated they've never heard of people gaining that much weight that quickly.

My normal weight when im being lazy is about 150. When im training to gain bulk/toned muscles I soar to about 180-185.

Check your blood pressure. fluid retention is likely.

It is unlikely that you can gain muscle that quickly. You will probably just be gaining fat, which will prevent you from having that buffed/toned look that most guys are after.
