cut it while in a pony tail to give to Locks of Love. Has anyone here ever done that? I didn't have it cut for them but glad that it would be reused for such a wonderful cause. (they make wigs for kids with cancer.)

I had 2 feet off my hair(My hair was really long) cut off and sent it their. My friends cousin had cancer and had to use the wigs. MY friends liked my hair long, I was kind of freaked out. MY mom put my hair in a ponytail and just snip. I opened my eyes, I loved it! Especially since I helped to make a wig for children with cancer.

Yes, I think that is a wonderful cause, and I congratulate you for donating your hair to Locks of Love. I have long hair, but I've never donated mine because they only use virgin hair; that is, hair that is not chemically treated with perms or hair coloring. Since I have some gray in my hair, I do use colors. Besides, what little girls would want a wig with gray in it? I think donating your hair is something you will always be proud of.

My daughter had all her hair cut and donated to Locks of Love. This is a wonderful thing to do and is very helpful to patients who have lost their hair due to disease. I think what you did will pay off for somebody. Although you don't see the blessings you bestowed onto another, they are there and don't go unnoticed.

My daughter is planning to do that when she decides to get her hair cut. It is currently down to her rear. Locks of Love is a great program.

Yes...and thank you for getting the word out...it is for a very worthy cause and can make a real difference to someone who has lost their hair due to illness. It is wonderful to recycle something you no longer need...to someone in need.
