Given that there are an estimated 12-20 million Mexicans in this country. And that we allow 5000/year to legally enter. It's been 20 years since the last amnesty.
5000 x 20 = 100k
100k out of 20 million... I would hafta say that just about EVERY mexican in this country is illegal. No matter WHAT they tell you.

Well I don't know if they are legal or not to be honest. But I do see a lot of Mexican immigrants in the area. I live in Los Angeles. I have a friend from El Salvador who told me he could usually guess who's illegal. He said it's usually the folks who are short and/or with indian (indigenous) features, who can't speak english well. He said they have a name for people like that but I don't remember what it was. Anyway, I've seen a lot of people that fit that description, but I'm not gonna accuse them of anything because I don't know for sure.

How do you know if they legal or illegal, moron? It's the biggest non-issue to ever sweep our nation. The "threat" of Mexican groundskeepers, farmhands, and pool boys never really panicked me. Do you want a job in the hot sun for 10 hours for $50 per day? Then, don't worry about them!

Hard to tell really although I would say more illegals judging by the amount of people crammed in their house or apartment and the number of vehicles outside. The ones who are legal usually work in places where they DO check the background.

Wow timely question for me. I just moved from Atlanta where there was defiantly more illegal tom Portland, Oregon where there is more legal Mexicans. Most of them are 2nd or 3rd generation Mexican-Americans and are bilingual and can't understand me because of my accent. It is as different as night and day.

How would a person know who is legal or illegal? Are they carrying a sign? This is a stupid question.

Why did you even ask this if you thought it was stupid for anyone to answer? You are the one who sounds a little light headed.
To answer your question, illegal.
