I would choose the mansion because about 1 in 3 marriages in the USA end in divorce. If am going to be unhappy, I want to be unhappy knowing that I was living a fairly tale type life with all the luxuries I want at my disposal. So called true love does not always last forever, but even if it did how could someone be content with just a grass shack. Assuming a prenuptial agreement was not signed, a spouse could ask for 50% of the assets in a divorce case.

I'll take the mansion.
You will eventually get sick of being broke and living in the shack and you will start resenting each other. Love and sex can only go so far when you are struggling to keep the bills paid.
As my mother once told me, "Love doesn't pay bills."
I agree that money does not buy happiness, but I can guarantee you that you won't be happy for long if you can't pay the bills!

Money only creates desires for material things. You may be able to enjoy more of life with extra money but keeping up with those who lack love will leave you empty inside. The grass shack is not the right answer either because someone who is unable to provide for you will not last past the passion stage. When two people really love each other they work to improve their lives. Love takes some quality of life to continue. Those who think otherwise fill our courtrooms with divorce suits.

Every individual has his/her own priorities in life. Making sense with what you really need and sticking out with your decision is what matters when posed with two opposing sides that are both tempting.
See, -varied answers to your questions would lead you nowhere because each individual is different from the next one. The answer lies within you. All you have to do is analyze what you want in life; lay all the cards on the table and think about all the possibilities with a foresight.
-Do you think money could bring you happiness/peace of mind and good health- 5 years from now? -10 years?-20 years?
Can you bear living with someone you hate for the rest of your life? (however, there is a catch here-if this someone you hate loves you; he could turn out to be the guy for you in the long run)Most women don't harbor hatred when good deeds are evidently shown.

True love of course. Trustttt me yo having all the **** in the world but not having someone you love or people you love period just sucks. Imagine like, you got all the **** the popular dude of school has, a corvette, big *** mansion, 1000 dollars in your pocket every day top of the line brand name jeans n ****, but just having no friends. Thats pretty much what the $500M mansion with someone you hate is like. Not saying you have no friends with the mansion but living with someone you hate IS like that. True love just yo seriously it feels amazing. Whether you feeling true attraction or personality or both. You just feel like you wanna hold them, have sex with them (yes sex lol) and just be with them and it the greatest feeling in the world. When you got a girl like that you dont need all that money man.
