I'm an Italian native speaker and I can confirm. It's an Italian last name and you pronounce it: Bom-bah-chee.

CmonkeyB,

the double cc's in Italian and pronounced as the K in English.
a single c is pronounced as CH in ´'child'
so,

Bombacci = Bombahkey
Bombaci = Bombachi

Hope this helps!

"Ci" in italian always makes the "C" hard. Weak vowels are i's and e's, so when you see something like, "Ceci," you pronounce it "Che-Chee". Double c's just make you emphasize the hard c. So, Bomb bach chee, would be my little linguistic breakdown.
