They could'nt join the boarder patrol, and the ones you refer to as mexicans, are not mexicans ... they are Americans of hispanic descent .

The border patrol is a joke. They round up some illegals, drive down towards the border, and let em off the bus at a reststop near San Diego if they pay off the guards 100 bucks.

Do you know the difference between mexican and hispanic? Study that...and you're right, I think, there's a great potential for conflict of interest there, they already had a news story detailing that 2 of the guys that used to be border patrol magically vanished somehow, something about taking money for looking the other way.

Integrity's the issue, here, and america's got a lot of challenges these days. I wish more people like you that consider themselves 'mexican' would go home, and fix your own problems there. Mexico's got a lot of issues, they could use lots of smart, hard-working people. So, why don't you help? As far as I'm concerned, you turned away from your own 'people'. Kind of sad, really, that all it takes to get mexicans to forget their own countrymen is a handful of dollar bills....

I'm all for building the border fence, personally. I think things are not good between our two countries, and that crime, drugs, violence, all these things that are increasingly associated with mexicans being in america, all these things need to abate.
We're only talking 2000 miles of concrete, and steel, that'd barely get you started on the interstate highway system, and it'd give a lot of these cross-border 'revolutionaries' something to look at each day while they're busy fixing their country instead of figuring out how to steal from ours. I think the border patrol should recruit about 20,000 people, let's see, 3 shifts would give you...6,666 border patrolmen per shift, 2,000 miles of border 3 men per physical mile of border, send the air force to patrol, and Bingo!
Mexico has to solve its' own problems. That would just be so super-special, I think. And, we could help mexico, too, to become a strong, wealthy independent country, another shining beacon of democracy, and a strong deterrent to all the shady backdoor people that have tried to corrupt and undermine them for all these years. But, in the event that they chose another path for their country, at least their problems wouldn't spread into the United States...

God bless america, and support the Border Patrol!

Your right.....Most border towns are predominately hispanic, thus having hispanic border patrol agents. I dont think an illegal would be allowed to join border patrol, afterall they are illegal. It would be like having a fox guarding the chicken coop! Where do you people come up with these questions!

Irony, Hell!!
It's happened!!
Recently, it was found out that an illegal Mexican had forged documents and had been hired by the Border patrol. He was using his position for bribes and was allowing coyotes to work.

Don't laugh, it's true. Do a search.

Where did you get your information? If they were born here, then technically they are not Mexican.
