I am female but I do believe that when a guy ask a girl/woman to marry him he has given it much thought. And he has probally gotten a good indication from her that NOW would be a good time to ask her to marry him. Thus the time to say yes is when he ask.
If you have any reservations of marrying him then it wouldn't be advised to say yes. It would probally devastate him to get a NO, or let me think about it.
A healthy relationship would have it so as HE knows when to ask and SHE knows when to say yes.
Otherwise the time for "when to say yes" should have been answered by you a long time ago during the dating period.
Saying YES to a proposal is a "promise" to marry. I would know that I wanted to marry him or not so my answer would be YES when he popped the question............

I said yes before he could get the question out of his lips...lol. I knew he was the one! Life itself throws enough obstacles that you can see how that person reacts to stress and if they love you enough to stick through the good and the bad. Marriage is such a wonderful thing, but only if two people love each other unconditionally.

You should have decided long before it came to the proposal whether you want to be married to this person or not. All through the relationship, you should be asking yourself, "If he asked me to marry him tomorrow, would I want to." No man wants to be put on hold while you're deciding whether you love him enough to marry him.

When I'm absolutely sure its the right person.But probably I'll be the one asking.Just about a month back I thought I had found that person but now I'm just lost lol!!!!!! Life is just sad.

for me, it really depends how long i've known them, how close we are, how we get along, if we're connected (meaning soul mates) if none of those things are happening then (for me) it's not meant to be.
