what do i do if i need to get an ID and all i have to do it with is a ssc and a birth cert. with a diff last name than my ssc and the DMV won't let me? i have had my name changed but it is still the same on my birth cert. please someone help me if you can i really need a job.

you might have to go to to ssa to get your name changed on your ss card i am surprised you had a name change before you got an id or drivers license when you change your name all documents of who you are with the exception of your birth cert change

you need the documentation to prove your name change - marraige cert, court order, whatever made your name-change legal. should be a piece of cake with that.
