I'd feed the parents the same food you've been feeding it and maybe add a bit of powdered hand feeding formula to diet. Add it to their wet foods, such as veggies and bread. They'll even accept scrambled eggs with the egg shell still on. This way the baby bird gets the nutrition it needs and if the parents reject the baby at some point, you can use the hand feeding formula to feed the baby yourself. The parents will feed the chick by puking up food stored in a pouch in their throat called a 'crop'. It's disgusting stuff - stringy and brown. It's gross to watch, but the babies love it!

I strongly suggest you let the parents feed the baby first as handfeeding is a LOT of hard work with sleepless nights and five am feedings. This is especially true if you've never done it before. Weaning a baby bird wrong could kill it and if you feed the baby bird the food at the wrong temperature you could start a bacterial infection or burn its throat. With this said, I'll post a site with information on handfeeding in case you have to resort to feeding the chick yourself :-) .

Are you leaving the baby with the parents? They will feed it food from there stomachs.
If you want to hand feed it, then you will have to go to a pet store, or parrot-breeder and ask for advice on what to feed it.

Since it's a Parrot, be sure to let the parents raise it, simply provide it fresh fruit, nuts, and/or berries, depending on what kind of parrot it is, and no, parrots don't feed from their own stomachs, nor eat worms...

Don't feed the egg after it hatches! Dummy! Feed the parents as usual, maybe a slight amount more. They will feed the hatchling!

The mother will take care of that part. When they are ready for food they will teach them to go to the food dish to eat seed & drink water. You can add vitamins to the water Or food to help all of them to be healthier.
