I'm using dreamweaver 8 and i'm not satisfied with it, i want the old version which is much better. Before Macromedia became Adobe site i can still search for MX but now any downloading site who links up to dreamweaver mx leads me to downloading site of Adobe for Dreamweaver 8. Can any one help me to get the old version MX? any link can help or just email it to me. thanks guys

Adobe officially stopped selling any version of Dreamweaver prior to 8. So an "official" free trial would likely not be possible. Your best best bet would be to find someone who has the old Dreamweaver disk and install it. You DO NOT need their product key since you only want a free trial. Once installed, Dreamweaver gives you the option of trying for 30 days or buying.

This may not work though because Adobe may still want you to register on their site for older versions of Dreamweaver and force you to download the newer one instead.

Worth a try though dude.

Also as a side note, like you, I did not really like Dreamweaver 8 (as compared to MX 2004) when it first came out. But now, after having used it for a while, I can see how it is better and more efficient than previous versions.
