sims skin problem?

i have downloaded a skin, how do i get it into my game???

If you go to http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/free/sims1
it has free DL's and has a help section that tells you what to do once you DL or it may help with your DL you got now, as to where to put it so it can be used in your game.

For Sims2, you have to unzip/unrar the downloaded file and extract it to your sims2 downloads folder. If the download is a sims2 pack installable package, just double click the icon and it will install itself into the correct folder.
