After he testified to Mary Magdeline and a few others where do you suppose he went? Did he go into hiding and live to be an old man and then die again? Or did he ascend into heaven?

I kind of believe that he never actually died on the cross...Was given an anticoagulant when the man gave him something to drink from that sponge and actually just went into a coma.

Thanks for the answers and the verse which tells me what happened biblically.
No I'm really not trying to be funny, this is a common theory, they really did have an anticoagulant back then.

It doesn't say that it pierced his heart, but thanks for the input.

The Bible says that after he rose from the grave, he appeared to small groups of his disciples (Mary Magdalene, the 2 men on the way to Emmaus, the apostles including the Doubting Thomas assembled together, he cooked a fish picnic for some of his old friends, and had the famous "Do you love me...feed my lambs" conversation with Peter) and some 500 people at a time(the Apostle Paul records this).

Then in the company of the apostles who were assembled on the Mount of Olives, he disappeared in the clouds to heaven (with the same Resurrected Body--in contradiction to JT's assertion that it was a regular flesh and blood body, subject to the same rules of physics as our bodies--that was able to pass through locked doors when the frightened apostles were assembled together post-Crucifixion.)

Now, the Bible says, Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father and intercedes for us (very comforting) and sends the Holy Spirit to lead believers into all truth (it takes believers a lifetime, at least, which is why atheists should not give up when they can't find the answer to a Bible "riddle" right away). The fellowship of the Trinity is restored now that there are no longer temporary limitations on Jesus power (limitations to which he subjected himself when he lived among us).

Read the Gospel according to St. John chapter 19, verse 34:

"but one of the soldiers pierced His Side with a spear, & immediately, there Came Out Blood & Water."

This verse alone confirms that Christ Died on the Cross.

After His Resurrection, He Ascended into Heaven.

If Jesus did not die then our life is in vain. The bible says that He died, was buried, rose again was seen on earth for forty days and then ascended into heaven before the disciples eyes. Read John chapter 19 through Acts 1:9-11

According to the Bible, in John 19, as it was nearing sunset, the soldiers went and checked the crosses and found Jesus dead. But to be sure, it says that that one of them drove a spear through his heart piercing it so that water and blood flowed out. If he was not dead, but only in a coma, having his heart cut in half would have killed him.

Plus, the cause of death in crucifixion is strangulation. As you hang there, the force of keeping your arms up pulls them so far out of joint that the sholuder muscles eventual close the throat and you suffocate. This is why in John 19 the soliders broke the legs of the other people being crucified so they could not push themselves up and would die quicker. If Jesus had passed out or gone into a coma, his head would drop (you can't hold your head up when unconsist) and he would have suffocated within three minutes.

As for what happened to Jesus after the crucifixion, he made several appearances to His disciple over the next forty days, explaining to them how his suffering that fullfilled the Old Testament prophecies about Him and preparing them to go out and teach the entire world about Him. (See Matthew 24, Mark 16, Luke 24 and John 21)

After 40 days, he gathered his disciples, and before their eyes rose into the clouds and returned to heaven (See Acts 1 for the details). Paul, writing in 1 Corinthians 15, gives a list of Jesus' appearances after his resurrection, and says that there were over 500 people present when Jesus rose to heaven.

If all of that was false, then why did every one of the 11 disciples, who would have knew that it was false, give their lives for lie?

Don't you people ever read the Bible?

Or do you purposely ask nonsense questions without studying it on your own first?

The sponge was full of vinegar.
He was crucified... which... he would have died from either way. Being out there so many hours. When people are crucified they die from not being able to breathe... and that's not counting the beating or being stabbed in the side.
He rose from the dead.
He ascended into heaven.

At ultimate he replaced into an amalgam of those others yet virtually somewhat by no skill existed!

Have you ever read the Bible? Jesus ascended into heaven to prepare a place for the ones who follow His teachings. Why do you have a problem with this? Your eternal life may depend on whether you believe this or not. I personally hope that you are more knowledgeable than your question. Do you believe that Jesus is going to return for the ones that accept Him as their personal Savior? I hope and pray that you do and I hope to see you in heaven one day.

He wandered around for a few days and zoomed off to heaven.

According to the myth, he was in the flesh when he zoomed off. Since matter cannot travel faster than the speed of light, heaven must be really, really close.

It's amazing that astronomers can't find it given its extremely close proximity.
