hahaha bought this book today...

OMG its so hilarious so many of the "spells" that they have in here sound EXACTLY like my cats to a T

This is just one of the some 45ish "spells for cats"

ok heres a "cat spell" for "How to get locked indoors on a wet day"

You will need:
Imagination
Long-range weather forecast
selective hearing
multitasking abilities
an ability to create controlled mayhem
a new hiding place

Method (the night before)
1 ) Knock over the kitchen bin(hopefully still full with last night's dinner) as quietly as possible. This will create more work for your human in the morning, and make her too flustered to look for you.

2 ) Pester your human for extra food mercilesslyso that you can survive the next day without breakfast or morning tea. You'll want to keep a low profile in the morning.

3)Seek out a new hiding place that is too imaginative for your human to locate in a 3 minute intensive search.

Haha, sounds funny. I'm Wiccan, I wonder if it was a serious book or a Pagan humor book. ;)

Wicca is a rather new faith. It changed into created interior the 1950's. It changed into depending, in part, on historic Pagan beliefs. Paganism is a wide umbrella time period for most faiths. in reality any faith except Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are considered Pagan. Hinduism, which could be considered Pagan, is reportedly the oldest faith. Paganism as i imagine you recommend it (along with Druidism and different such religions) is honestly older than Christianity. Many Christian vacation journeys, rituals, or perhaps Saints are "borrowed" from the Pagan religions. Christmas operating example. similar with Easter. Even the trinity. they're all "borrowed" from Pagan beliefs. Saint Brigid changed into at one time a Goddess. She changed into lifted section and parcel from Pagan beliefs and transplanted into Christian Sainthood. The Celts exceeded their non secular beliefs down by using word of mouth, they did no longer have a written history early on. yet that does no longer negate the actual shown actuality that it predates Christianity by using quite a even as. as a count number of actuality, the Romans forcefully switched over the Pagan 1000's for the length of Europe ("borrowing" their rituals, vacation journeys and Goddess/Gods to make the conversion a lot less complicated to take). So of route, the Pagans were there first.

Wow; and I thought it was just a Christian vs Athiest fight in here.

This is one of the first times I have seen a fight aimed at the Wiccans. I will watch this question, however I doubt you will get many replies. Unlike the Athiests and Christians; Pagans and Wiccans just let you be.

It's kind of like they are use to the hate. And have learnt to live life with it. :)

added: They also don't believe in hate. So you most likely won't see it from them.

There are serious Pagan books and then there are the sell-out ones choc-full of rhetoric. Looks like you picked up one of the latter.
