I had windows media player 9 and used to burn cd's with no problem and they would play in my car or on my stereo's with no problem then I upgraded to windows media player 10 and now when my cd closes it will not play in any players I have. Please can anyone tell me what is wrong. It always tells me the that it was a successful and complete burn but will not play in anything but the computer I burned it in. PLEASE HELP.

pull up media player.....click on the "Burn" tab.... over on the left hand side of the screen, it will say something like "CD Drive (D:) -Audio CD. There's a pulldown menu there....go into that and select "Audio CD". that should allow you to burn a regular cd that will play in a normal cd player.

Hope that helps.

Youve copied them in the incorrect format the cds are high quality youve prob copied in mp3 or somthing else they might desire to be in wav format, till you have a newish dvd that performs mp3 vehicle CDS are technically previous so which you may desire to objective lower back and burn music as a wav format

Don't use WMP. Download Nero - it's much better, faster, and the like.

^If that doesn't work, just google "Nero."

I think you need to get rid of WMP and use Nero.
