If you met someone on the internet that really matched what you wanted in a man but, when you met them you found out he was fat,would you keep the relationship going, or laugh and not give him a chance.

If I ever were to do the internet thing, I would absolutely keep it going, but then again, this is coming from a girl who is about twenty pounds heavier than she should be, and whose best friend is technically an obese chef who she went to prom with. Thing is, good looks only go so far-- I've dated sexy, buff guys that turned out to be arrogant and insecure (note the irony there), not to mention unintelligent. In summary, it's 100% about personality, because a skinny idiot is not going to make anyone happy for long.

I'm biased. My man's 5'9" at most and weighs over 230lbs. If I met someone on the internet and found out he was fat, sure I'd give him a chance.

I am married so this really doesn't apply to me.... but I think it all depends on how honest the guy was with me.
If he told me that he was a Brad Pitt look alike and he looked more like Revenge of the Nerds... I probably wouldn't give him a chance at all.

That all depends on if he was honest from the beginning about what he looked like. Honesty counts a lot with me. My boyfriend likes to believe he is really skinny, but not so much. He looks good though and tries to stay in shape.

i guess im very shallow i wouldent give it a second thought more than friends.. but if i knew what the person looked like then i would be able to base it on that i dont meet people off line unless i have seen a compleat picture

They see fairly women human beings with good-looking adult adult males and want a similar component. they do no longer decrease their standards only as a results of fact they are much less appealing, as they could desire to no longer. a similar question could be asked in the direction of adult adult males.

im not shallow at all i dont really care about size its personality that i worry about. if the guy has a great personality then i would still date him:)

It wouldn't matter to me because I like my man meaty! It would matter though if he was a person who didn't look after his appearance .... I mean shave, smell good and don't dress like a bum.

oh goodness....this is shallow of me, but it depends on how fat. if hes moderately big, maybe, and it depends on how attached i feel towards him. i wouldn't laugh at him, but i think i would tell him i wasn't interested. that is pretty bad, isn't it?
