i do. i have 5 of them. they are loyal, friendly, and great companions. they are more like self-sufficiant teenagers where as dogs are more like 2 year olds that need you every waking moment of the day. it's not that i don't like dogs, i just don't have the patients to work with them day in and day out.

I love cats. My cat, batman, is so sweet. He lives at my grandmas, which i visit a lot, but if i am gone for a few days, she will tell me about how he will stare at the door, and always want to be around her, until i come back that is. I also have a dog that is really special to me, and she is so loyal, plus i have had her longer, but i cant say i would completely replace him with her.
I just wouldn't be able to take it if i had to get rid of him. He is that special cat that you get once in life time. He is beautiful, all black except for a white spot ob his belly. He is always purring. one time we went to the vet and he got a blood test, when the vet came back in, he said that batman was purring all the way through it. He has bright green round eyes and loves everyone. I hope he lives a very long time because i really love him.

I always thought that cats were the best pets...until we got a puppy...and then another and another and another. We still have 3 cats and i love them to pieces!!!! But even though my cats are incredibly loving....it cannot compare to the unconditional love you get from a dog. They look at you with such love and devotion.......they think we are awesome no matter what we do.....to the dog, we are perfect. I like that.

I sure do! I have 8 total. One is a feral cat that just showed up one day, I started feeding him and he's been here ever since (about a year now). Three others are rescued from the vet, two of which are brothers. The other four I either got from friends or were given to me. I just love 'em!!

I do. I've always liked cats and they are very low maintenance - if they use the bathroom outside. They don't make a lot of noise; their purring is soothing; they sleep in very funny positions; they are playful and it makes you feel special if they like you. Dogs seem to like everybody - cats are choosy.
I had a cat named Fred when I left for college. He stayed with my parents. Fred only liked 2 people - me and my dad. He wouldn't sit in anyone else's lap or let anyone else pet him.
For the next 17 years, Fred lived with my parents. I lived far away and my rental contract did not allow pets. I could only visit my folks once per year. And Fred never forgot me. When I drove up he would run to the car to see me. My dad took good care of him and buried him when he died.

I love cats - their clean, smart, cute and a lot easier to take care of. they may have an attitude sometimes, but that's cool, because so do I. Plus their cheaper too, and you can leave them alone when you go to work and they are alright. A dog would go crazy in a situation like that, unless you cage them, which I don't care what the experts say, is cruel.

i like them b/c theyre easy to hold and not heavy or hyper, clean and lovable and won't really turn on you. though if you have hurt feelings they won't come up to you like a dog will- and ugh their vile kitty litter smell worser then a dogs present but i cannot say they are their best pets because they have thier bad spots as well.
