If u want the birds to die give it to them.
I had millions of birds. Once even a pigeon.
I gave a peice of stale bread to my pigeon . and the bread cut its throat! it died sadly!
The stale bread is too hard for birds.
Unless u smash it with a hammer 100 times!
U should throw it away and let the dang bugs have it.
bugs are bad birds are good

Most of the time, I give it to the birds, but sometimes depending upon how stale it is, I use it for bread pudding or stuffing.

Roasted Red Pepper Croutons:

Cut stale bread into bite sized cubes (about 1/2")
Melt 1/4 cup butter per 4 cups
Using store bought roasted peppers (or for better flavor roast your own)
In a food processor combine about 1/4 cup of red peppers with the melted butter and blend thoroughly. Salt & Pepper to taste.
Put croutons in a large mixing bowl and drizzle roasted red pepper butter all over the croutons then mix to coat evenly.
Spread out on a cookie sheet and bake in a 250-275 degree oven until all croutons are crisp.
My kids would eat these like candy!

Bread crumbs:
Dry bread in a low oven and process with the grater attachment on your food processor. You may add dry herbs if you prefer seasoned bread crumbs.
Uses for bread crumbs:
Filler for meat loaf, meatballs, breading or butter crumb topping for fish, chicken breasts, veal cutlets, pork steaks or chops, etc...

Other possibilities:
Bread Salad (foodtv.com for recipes)
Bread Pudding
Alternative thickener for soups (in place of roux you can use milk-soaked bread for certain things like a tomato soup)

Feed it to the birds. Make sure you throw it away from your main entrance.

Throw it away. Why do you want to feed moldy bread to birds? They are just going to get sick and end up pooping on your car, if not on you.
