Perhaps the idea would better be described as lust at first sight.

Hmmmm....well, I don't necessarily think "love at first sight" is STUPID. I think that we, as emotional human beings, feel what we feel! I think that in the long run that love-at-first-sight might resolve itself eventually to be like or love or great affection at first sight after some time. But do I DISBELIEVE in love at first sight? No........I know too many people who feel they've experienced it.

some people are driven by physical attraction others may be something else say voice or character or intellectual abilities whatever but its those driven by physical attraction that are likely to believe or fall in love at first sight though I thinkm its rather lust and only if after interaction and seeing each other for a while they are still together relationship waxing stronger then it could be truly love at first sight

I believe in love at first sight. I fell in love with her almost 4 years ago. It simply will not go away. I tried.

Not me. With my mom and dad it was love at first sight and they have been happily married for thirty years. Love at first sight does not necessarily mean puppy love.

I think lust a first sight is a more appropriate term. The feeling bypasses your heart and goes straight to your hormones.
