Ignore them and keep yourself busy with your studies if you are a teen in school or concentrate on your work, if you are working. The right guy will come along on the right time and place. Keep cool and keep away from trouble.

If the rumors are false, and You are SURE they are the ones that are spreading them... than You Need to get a Lawyer and Sue them for Libel and/or Defamation of Character... that'll put an end to it real fast, and You'll get some money out of it too.

Ignore them. Both of them. Don't give them the satisfaction of seeing you upset. Don't spread rumors about them, or tell every one what happened. That's childish, & you don't want to stoop to their level. Just keep your head up. A couple months from now, everybody will have forgotten all about this & be caught up in the new rumours that, trust me, will be going around.

Frst let me say this .This person you call a friend ,wasn't really a friend at all. Second this guy really couldn't see how special you really were.If he has to date his girlfriends friends. Maybe he's the type of person that obviously hasn't relly got over you. I mean he is spreading rumours about you along with your so called friend & his so called Better bargain. She must of given him the impression he was going to get something that couldn't be all that great anyway. You must be Prtty Special .I mean Imagine .Your friend and your ex-boyfriend getting together just to talk all about you. i'm sure she feels like crap. so relax. It's Still all about you.

You certainly know how to pick them. Ignore the rumours hard as it is, those that know you best will refuse to listen or will not believe, those are what is called true friends, and also the gossip will dye down in a few weeks when juicier gosip hits the streets.

Simple, IGNORE THEM!!! Don't show them that it bothers you. It will drive them crazy! Always keep a smile on your face no matter how you feel... Remember this, "For every action, there's a reaction!" They are meant to be together if they act that childish... Last resort If it get's any worse. Get the girl alone one day and give her a swift kick in her a**... Maybe that will smarten her up a bit!

Hold your head wayyyyy high. One day they will be caught out in their lies and you will reap the gratification. Seriously tho they are so not worth it and really if someone thats your friend and boyfriends cheat on you do you really think their opinions are worth that much. I dont and the rumours are sooo not true.

first, you need to stop referring to her as a "friend" she obviously isn't. rumors are lies. if you have any REAL friends they would know that what they are spreading are evil and hatefull stories. don't worry too much about them. in fact, write them both out of this chapter in your life and move on to a new one.
good luck

They are losers. Ignore them both. Don't give them fuel to add to the fire. They'll eventually see that what they're saying has no effect on you. Walk with your chin up and I'm going to give you a solid piece of advice:
"Don't be that psycho ex-girlfriend"
You'll save yourself alot of heartache...Good luck
