God had to come from somewhere since he was the start of everything. That means there was nothing before him. So you are saying that God came from nothing but isn't that your argument against evolution? Something does not come from nothing so where did God come from if he was the start of everything? Either God popped into being, came from an even higer being, or he evolved from something simpler. Which one is it? So say we are not meant to know is not an answer it is a comp out.

I agree:

Here's a passage that really made me smile. To quote Carl Sagan from the book Cosmos:

"If the general picture of an expanding universe and a big bang is correct, we must confront stil more questions. What were the conditions like at the time of the Big Bang? What happened before that? Was there a tiny universe, devoid of all matter, and then the matter suddenly created from nothing? How does that happen? In many cultures it is customary to answer that God created the universe out of nothing. But this is mere temporizing. If we wish courageously to pursue this question, we must of course ask next where God comes from. And if we decide this to be unanswerable, why not save a step and say that the origin of the universe is an unanswerable question. Or, if we say that God always existed, why not save a step and conclude that the universe always existed?"

Good question.

Nobody created God. God is eternal without beginning or end. Do I understand this, no.

Heb 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

The only thing we know is that God acquired wisdom in eternity past.

WISDOM SPEAKING
Pro 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
Pro 8:24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Pro 8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
Pro 8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
Pro 8:27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
Pro 8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
Pro 8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
Pro 8:30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
Pro 8:31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

EVOLUTION

The introduction to Genesis and to the whole Bible ascribes everything to the living God, creating, making, acting, moving, and speaking. There is no room for evolution without a flat denial of Divine revelation. One must be true the other false. All of God’s works are good, great, wondrous, and perfect.

Man starts from nothing. He begins in helplessness, ignorance, and inexperience. All his works, therefore, proceed on the principle of evolution. This principle is only seen in human affairs: from the hut to the palace; from the canoe to the ocean liner; from the spade to the plowshare to machines. But the birds build their nests today as at the beginning. There is growth and development within man, but no passing, change, or evolution out from one into another.

For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be evident stages of evolution today. You would be able to find species in many stages of evolution in nature right now. For this theory or fallacy of evolution to be true there would be no God. And that’s exactly what evolutionists believe and are trying prove. The evolutionist bases his or her conclusions on human assumptions and reasoning, instead of on the documentary evidence of the manuscripts.

God IS existance. And existance has always been here. All the things that evolved from existance like rocks, dinosaurs, rivers, oceans, air, those things are God/dess. I don't believe that first there was God and then She created everything. I believe those things in existance make up the Goddess.

It depends on your definition of something and nothing.

God is a spirit. Something is usually used to refer to some physical object. Spirit is not something physical.

The laws of time space and mass govern physical objects. Spirit is not constrained by any of these ideas.

Essentially time is not applicable to sprit. Spirit simply has no need of a beginning or an end. This is a requirement of a physical object like a person.

Assuming that this is what you are these constraints of time seem to be necessary to you, this makes it very difficult to understand that under certain nonphysical conditions they are simply irrelevant.

Science proves that for every action there is a reaction. This scientific proof is the very beginning definition of the proof of the existence of God.

God always was, always is, and always will be. God does not evolve God Is.

He is not bound by the rules he places for humanity. Science proves his existence.

If you think that it is a cop out to accept that God had no beginning and by the way He will never have an end, then you explain to me why do accept time or space - because no one knows when or where either began.

Well, I'm not too sure what a comp out is... but... I believe that God is eternal. There was no beggining to him, and there is no end. There are many things in this life that we do not understand and I think that maybe this is one of them. Maybe you should live for him, make it to heaven... and ask him yourself. : )

God is Omnipotent and He has always existed, being supernatural the rules are different. We cannot fathom the intricacies of God.
