The best I've ever found is the Raid Fumigator. It's not an aerosol bomb. It uses a chemical reaction with water to produce a super fine mist.

Flea eggs hatch (rule of thumb) every three days (in other words three days after they are laid)....you can re-bomb, or hire someone (they will have stronger chems)....vacuum every day! Even under the furniture! It takes a while, but if you bomb every three days for about 2 weeks and vacuum every day during that time, it will help!
BE SURE AND THROW THE BAG FROM THE VAC AWAY EVERY DAY....I KNOW IT COST A LOT, BUT ANY LIVE ADULTS (OR UNKILLED EGGS) WILL START THE CYCLE OVER AGAIN!
If you hire someone, then still vaccum every day for the same 2 weeks...most proffs will warranty their work, so if you still have fleas after a month, call them back to re-spray. Be sure and treat outside also! The fleas have to be coming from somewhere!

these are just a few tips. you need to eliminate them from your yard first. LYME or lime can't spell for the yard. After you have treated your yard with flea and tick killer. sprinkle lime in the yard. fleas ticks even snakes don't like lyme. get this at a home and garden center or a feed store
Lavender oil for there beds. just sprinkle a drop and it will keep it out of their beds.
I use frontline or advantage they work about the same for me. it kills the fleas when they bite the dog
FLEA COLLAR VACUMN CLEANER. if you have a cannister vaccumn cleaner put the flea collar in the cannister when you vaccumn them up in the cannister it will kill the fleas instead of them finding a way out. I do not put flea collars on my pets though
i do all this after i bomb or get an exterminator. you need to break the cycle of te flea and all these tips can help, most of the tips is just to discourage fleas from wanting to be in these areas

I know bombs are the last resort most of the time for fleas. I always use flea powder for the carpets once a week and use the powder or mousse for the cats as directed.

HA BORAX DIDNT WORK FOR US we bought like 3 huge cases of that stuff, it doesnt work dont waste your money, flea bombs didnt work for us either, we had fleas so bad they jumped on our legs and our dogs we getting sores all over there body almost becomming very sick from this.
we didnt get rid of all but got rid of so many we didnt notice them anymore and our dogs didnt itch lol
went to vet bought this pill for our dogs kills fleas on body for 24 hours so while they ahd the pill we had them outisde we went to walmart and bought some cheap carpet flea and egg killer let it set for like an hour then swept it up i mean we moved dresseres and beds and washed everything, it is almost like lice.
we sprayed our dogs down for days and after that things were pretty much cleared, maybe boraz will work but i doubt it it was a waste for us

Go to the store and get some 20 Mule Team Borax, Sprinkle on your carpet, furniture, and pets bed, give it about 24 hours and then vacuum it up. This has worked for me, only had to use it once it is harmless and you can use the rest in your laundry it is a good booster helps get the dirt out. Good Luck
