No clue in regards to the WWE.

In the UFC, it depends on the level of the fighter. Up and comers who are on the undercard might get $5000-8000 for a win, $3000 for a loss. After his second fight against Andrei Arlovski, Tim Sylvia got $80,000, Matt Hughes got $40,000 (I think) for smashing Royce Gracie (who got $400,000, go figure). Plus, it depends on how many times you fight in the year. There really is no set pay scale in the UFC.

mmaweekly.com had an article recently that gave a rundown of who recieved what for UFC fights through out the first half of 2006. Maybe you could check that out.

WWE wrestler have better chance of making a living. Don't ask me how much because I don't know much about WWE.

However for fighter. Well... if you're lucky, you can live somewhat decently. However it's NOT a career you can really rely on. Same goes for any fighting sport.

I know many fighters, include some big name who make six digits a year. They all say it's not easy career and you shouldn't rely on it until you have some serious back up moneys in bank before quitting your day job. Hell most of them have a day job just to be safe and many have at least assoicate college degree to fall back on.

I'm a semi pro fighter and it's NOT as fun as it seems. It's a really pain to get up and drag yourself to gym to do something you have done over 1000000 time everyday for years. Then get your *** kick hard, sweating heavily, fighting off boredom and fatigueness.

Then a week or two before your fight, you get so nervous that you could become really sick, lose appetite, become very withdrawal from any socialing event, get really moody, and may even cry every night. You also got to worry about all your injuries, ask yourself if old injuries will come back to haunt you, wondering how long your body will last, and many other things

Then on night of fight, the fun part start.

So I would basically say majority of them don't even make enough for what they do at all. Not even close. I think beginner at big event should get at least 20,000 a fight and fight 3 or 4 time a year. but this isn't a perfect world.

However don't be asking any fighter you just meet about how much they make. Most of them doesn't like to talk about moneys and give very vague answer.

Depends on how popular they are. The Ultimate Fighter winners receive a 6 figure contract.

Kevin Nash said he was getting 100,000 a week in 2003.

I bet Hulk Hogan makes over 1,000,000 for going to wrestlemania.
