Get a good quality dog food like wellness, orijen, acana and so on. These are foods not found at grocery stores or walmart. Kibbles N Bits is crap for dog food. These high quality foods will also give a nice coat to your dog. Good luck

Any high quality dog food should help his coat improve. Also, adding Omega 3 Fatty Acid supplements such as Derm Caps will help. My hairless chinese crested gets the Missing Link supplement with her food and it's helped her skin and hair alot, so that may also be worth a try. For tear stains, there is a product called "Angel's Eyes" which is a powder you add to your dogs food to eliminate them from the inside out.

I have never believed in vitimins and stuff for dogs..But my shelter Vet gave me a product called PLATNIUM Its made more for horses but they make a canine Version as well..I have noticed a HUGE difference in my dogs coats..My black Lab Glistens. My Cockapoo had unshiney hair..It looks Shineier, Healthy and he is 13 years old..I have no Idea WHERE you get it but its great..Its pricey but you would give a maltese a teaspoon a day over her food...Best thing I have ever used and I have had dogs all my life!

Any omega 3 fatty acid, ie fish oil, sardines, the missing link ets. Be carfull trying eggs they can make your dogs gas VERY rank!!! Your best be to is to get on a good diet. My recommendation would be a raw diet but if your not comfortable with that try innova.

Good, consistant grooming and conditioning. There is a product that groomers use called Soft and Silky. You might look on line and see if you can find it. Also, try a little egg in his dog food.

One raw egg a day, added to their food. I have a shih-tzu who gets those same brown marks on his face from tears--we feed him a yeast tablet everyday, and it works!

Save your money, don't get these overpriced vitamins and stuff. Break a couple of fish oil capsules over the food, whatever food youe vet recommends for your dog. It worked for our dog and our ferret when we had one.
