I have used multiple anti virus progs and hands down I have found Norton to be the best year after year. Norton System Works is a great asset for any computer if you can shell out the $60 for it. If you buy just the anti virus software it is cheaper, but I highly recomment System Works, which includes your antivirus software.

I got a lot of great free programs for ya: Avast Antivirus, ZoneAlarm Personal Firewall, Windows Defender, Spybot S&D, AdAware, SpywareBlaster to name a few.
And btw if your going to buy an antivirus i recommend McAfree as Norton uses too much system resources.

Avast 5 is fantastic actual almost as good as any paid for anti-virus, identity recommend installation it (link on my profile) updating it, then operating a boot test. keep it put in to maintain away from you getting an infection interior the destiny.

I believe you should go with Kaspersky. Google a bunch of comparisons, you'll find that their second to none and worth the slight cost.

You do not have to buy a antivirus.Here is a very good one called antivir.
