Expiration date is usually marked down 1 months before for dried food and medicide. It occurs if you store in the cool and dry place. So if the expiration date is Juen 16,usually it is still good till July 16.After that the chemical reaction usually happens in the vitamin, you shoud not consume it again, because the changes of chemical reaction could react in different form to your anti-body system. If it is only posioning,it is still ok,but how if it attacks your nerve system.Don't let it happen.

My mother was a nurse and she told me that it was safe to use them up to 6 months after the expiration date. Then after that be sure to throw the rest away and get a new supply. I have done this for years and have never been sick because of it. I too take vitamin "E" clear capsuls.

Expiration date is not a time bomb. Meaning it won't hurt if you consume the product especially this close to the expiration date. Other medicines, like antibiotics, have to be taken more seriously, tho... but VITAMINS! At the most they will do nothing to you, like if you're drinking a glass of air.

They should be good for 30 days past expiration. But next time you go out, pick up another bottle and throw the old ones out.

As long as they have been stored correctly they should be fine for awhile longer. The only difference is they lose potency over time. If your eating right you really don't need vitamins anyway. and Man-Made ones are actually worse for your body than not taking them at all.
