Christianity is a term that was coined by the non believers, 'those Christians."
Believing in Jesus as Savior, The Holy Spirit as you Teacher, and God as your Father is not a religion. It is reality based on facts that actually happened and are still happening. It is a lifestyle and not a religion and yes it is the right lifestyle because it is God's lifestyle. God is not religious, He is real. So you have a choice, to live and believe in what has actually happened or try to replace it with a religion based on somebodies view if what happened. Forget it and accept reality otherwise play with part of a deck. Even if you have chosen a religion to get to the TRUTH, if you close your mind to just the teachings of the religion, you will never find out the purest form of TRUTH. You must get it from the horses mouth so to speak. Keep an open mind and let the Spirit of God lead you to all Truth.

There is no right religion, and any organization as old as Christianity is bound to have controversy, but it has a lot going for it. Primarily, this is the only faith to postulate that the meek will inherit the earth and that loving your neighbor is on par with loving god. These revelations alone have inspired mystics though out the ages, everything else is window dressing.

Religion is as old as mankind.
Religion is man's way of reaching out for God.
Christ is God's way of reaching down to man.
Those numbers don't dismay me at all. Christianity is no longer "politically correct." As it declines in popularity, "cultural Christians" will find something else to do with their Sunday mornings. That's to be expected. Indeed, it is my guess that a time will come when the rest of the world will think that Christianity has died out. There will be alot of celebrating, as people think they've finally gotten rid of those pesky Christians.
When that happens, watch out. The church isn't really dead--and neither is Jesus.

The Catholic Church has a history that is recorded directly back to Jesus the Christ. Its membership is now over 1 billion worldwide in every nation on earth. It fulfills the prophesies of the Jewish covenant and Christ fulfilled those convenant personally.
It's members at times are full of human sinfulness, yet the
Divinely established family has always survived and expanded by the grace of Jesus Christ. It is the oldest established Christian Church.

Forget religion.
Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Christ is the tree of life.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Religion is a personal choice. There is no right or wrong. I don't believe that criticizing others about their choices is ever right. I wonder why it is so difficult for others to understand that everyone has a choice to make, and there is no wrong choice.

Each religion is the "right" religion for its followers. It is not for anyone to say what is right for anyone else. We are each equipped with our own minds to make up, so whatever feels right for each person is their religion.
