like........i have dad but hes not around and to me jesus is like another father of mine, some one i can lean on. but some peeps get into it and say hes a carpenter, or a prophet. wat is HE to you??

It is a fact that Jesus was a carpenter, and He was seen by many as a prophet for His teachings. Those are facts. To me, He is more. He is my Lord and savior, the incarnation of God in the flesh. Christ is the Son referred to in the trinity Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the three manifestations of God.

When I was still a Catholic (for 34 years) I was told that Jesus was the Son of God, the Messiah, Kings of Kings, blah blah.
Well, I'm no longer Catholic....I believe Jesus is a prophet and a great man....none will ever be like him....that's my current and permanent position on this matter. Peace.

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

He was a popular guy who taught about peace and love and nature. Unfortunatley, the governments at the time were not too fond of him as he was gaining popularity, and so they killed him. Then people started making up stories, and they got taller and taller each time they were told, and after 2,000 years, the stories became fairy tales.
And that is what Christianity is to me.

Jesus is one of the God family. He loves you desperately. He longs to hold you in His arms and dry your tears. He wants to comfort you, give you peace, meet all your needs, give you guidance and direction, listen to you, help you. He paid a mighty high price to make sure that you had the choice to join Him in heaven to live for eternity in a beautiful place without pain, suffering, sorrow, tears, or death.
Jesus is ultimate love.
