Whether you like it or not, you will carry both traits from each of them. There is good in everybody. Hopefully you will pick out the good strong traits. From personality, to behavior right down to the way they talk. For a long time, my husband use to call on the phone and couldn't tell if it was me or our daughter. Now the other day a friend told him, our son, talks just like me.. We talk alot about how our son and daughter picked something up from us. How they eat, talk, walk, work, social skills, everything!!!!

All this time I thought I wasn't anything like my parents but after I looked back at how I react to past events I'm a shadow of them. Once you realize that you can change it but when you're in the moment it's hard to see what you're like. I guess all the energy of them raising you just becomes a part of you.

It is pretty likely that you will have some of their same mannerisms and ways of handling stress. You may find yourself saying to your kids what you always hated hearing from your dad. But you can learn to handle conflict in different ways.
You will never be just like your parents. You have your own personality and experiences that have shaped and are shaping the way you react to the world.

Your character will mould according to their character as you have been facing them since a baby. Your voice will normally follow after one of your parent. The way you walk, the way you think.......you can't escape...even some of your health problems will be the same .......GENE has been planted in you by your parents!

A lot more than you realise. When you have kids of your own, you'll suddenly find yourself doing and saying some things your parents said to you.

I would say very likely...especially as you get older (insert eerie music here).
Ask anyone who has found himself saying the exact same things to his children ("Because I said so, that's why!") that his parents said to him!

You won't be exactly like them but, I find myself spouting phrases used by my mother.

Not exactly, but some of their personality will rub off on you.
