No I don't think that is true

We have a problem with law breakers -true. But we have other problems due to too many at once. Schools have been not able to keep up-too much at once. Benefits are very much in the red-the raise in recent years has been record breaking. Lack of Control on people-no matter from where has hurt us. The list goes on.

The people have no dislike for the illegals personally-they dislike what this mass coming in has created in problems. And the disrespect that has been shown by some. And the disrespect for Laws.

I for one absolutely do not have a problem with immigrants. My grandparents on both sides immigrated to this country (the United States). Sometimes though, I find I have a problem with some of the things many immigrants do. By contrast, here's a bit about my grandparents:

They arrived legally. They did a couple of things immediately upon arrival: they continued to take english lessons (they started before they arrived) and they (my grandfathers) began work the day after they arrived. During their lives, they never accepted assistance of any kind and were proud of that fact. They did everything in their power to be the best American citizens they could. Sometimes I think they would go to ballgames not because they liked baseball - my grandmother still thinks it's an odd sort of game - but it was an American game. I asked her what the best part of the game was for her... I really thought she was going to say, "Being with your grandfather." She didn't. "The national anthem is the best part." Wow. Go grandma. They never missed - till the day they died, a parade on the fourth of July. They learned the Pledge of Allegience in English before they learned how to say, "Where is the bathroom?"

Everyone is different. This though, is a brief profile of American immigrants that I was proud to know.

Legal immigrants are great for America. Illegal immigrants are not. They are just a pawn in the corporation and employers who use them. I have seen changes lately. More of those Americans are doing jobs that they formally would not do. I am glad our government keeps saying that, because it is causing anarchy. The former lazy ppl are getting up and working those jobs. The only difference is that they are being taxed for them.

I have no problem with illegal immigrants other then they broke the law. I know they are just trying to better their family or self. I have a problem with the illegal employers that know they hire illegals. What a unpatriotic thing to do but then again corporations are not people and have no feelings.

I have no problem at all with the legal ones as long as they learn to speak English and obey the laws. The illegals should all be rounded up and sent back to Mexico and Central America where they came from - and the sooner the better.

My problem is with the employers, actually. We wouldn't have this problem if employers were abiding by the rules.

If businesses didn't break the law by hiring undocumented workers, nobody would come here illegally, right? They wouldn't be dying in the deserts of northern Mexico or inside containers coming over from China.

We don't have an illegal worker problem, we have an illegal employer problem! Can I get a little enforcement over here please?

This is absolutely true and it has nothing to do with "Americans being racist", but Americans being sick of paying for the people who sneak into this country. We pay for their medical bills, they are allowed to go free, even if they commit a felony! (a friend was on a Grand Jury case where an illegal was driving drunk and struck a woman - they couldn't hold this guy and had to let him go! He wasn't even deported) They're free to do anything they want without consequences, and that I don't like.

I would agree. It is not fair to immigrants who have to wait on a lottery just to come to America. It weakens the greatest country in the world factor.

Legals are totally cool! I don't like illegals because they are breaking the law and getting away with it.

My guess is that a very large majority of Americans who don't like illegal immigrants are racist. That they decry the spoiling of "our culture" so often is the biggest clue.
