In a land with belief systems that teach faith above logic, god above human beings, and sin can be delt and forgiven on a whim; it's not surprising. They're doing the opposite of what they preach. With either side claiming they're doing "god's good work"; maybe god's a sadist.

Maybe god does not exist, therefor the behavior of the Israelis is not entirely relevant to what the bible or Torah says. It could be that the Israelis are more concerned with survival than what might maiby happen when they are dead, which by the way if it were up to hammas, all of them would be dead. this makes me think of a joke that I once herd......
A town had just been flooded and a man was sitting on his roof praying for his rescue, when a person and in a canoe paddled by and asked him if he wanted to get a ride to safer land. the man replayed "no I have faith that god will rescue me soon enough" So the person in the canoe paddled off. Some time later a person in a motorboat passed by and asked if he wanted to go to a safer place. the man replied "no I am waiting for god to save me." the person shrugged and sped off to find other people to rescue. that night a helicopter stopped by where the man was sitting in a attempt to rescue him. the man yelled in response "GO AWAY I AM WAITING FOR GOD TO SAVE ME QUIT INTERFERING WITH GODS PLAN FOR ME." later that night the Waters rose and the man drown, when he got to heaven he confronted god and asked why he didn't rescue him, to which god replayed "I sent a canoe, a motorboat and even a helicopter what else did you want me to do?"

More wars have been fought over religion than anything else - although Oil is up there, too. I don't know if God likes it or not, but I don't see it changing anytime soon. When people both feel that they are fighting for the one true God, they fight to the death.

If you read your Bible you would know that many times the children of Israel turned their backs on God and suffered many wars and problems. But, in spite of that, God loves them, and they are His chosen people. It is not for us to judge.

Jesus didn't come to save the world. He came to divide it.
Law of love.
Law of Violence.
If we thought in only these terms we would break out in boredom and have to fill our time with art.
OR
Do what we've been doing and that's a worldwide pissing match!

yea, they should be assamed of themselves - seems like the closer to 'god' people are, the less they can see the 'holy'
