Take a break from everything and hang out with friends to get away from whatever's causing the not-so-great feeling. Then go home, do some critical thinking and put things in perspective. Hopefully be able to resolve the issue causing this down feeling.

Listen to my favorite music, read a good book, watch a good movie, call a friend, clean the house, whatever that keep myself busy. I also think of the things that I have, the blessings that God has given to me. I simply don't let my mind take control over me. I advise you to do the same thing. All is a state of mind. Don't feel sorrow for yourself. God loves you and he want you to be happy. Read the bible, look for him.

Take my dogs for a walk. Exercise releases endorphins that stimulate your brain and make you feel better. And the doggy kisses are an extra bonus.
