My daughter and I love to sit at the table and enjoy dinner together but my other half prefers to sit in the living room in front of the TV. I grew up eating at the "dinner table" and think it is a very important part of a families day. If I lived alone or did not have kids I guess it might not matter so much to me. I think Friday Pizza Night is the in front of the TV night and maybe Saturday if there is a good movie we've rented.

I don't have one to eat at! We have a living room that is supposed to double as a dining room, but our TV is very big so if you sit too close to it it's not a very pleasant viewing experience. So we opted to push the couch all the way back to the wall, leaving no room for a dining table. We didn't really have the money to buy one anyway, so oh well! And our kitchen is much too small to put a little table in there. So we eat on TV trays in the living room. No big deal! When guests come over we just take them out to dinner instead of cooking at home! (I hate cooking anyway.)

We used to eat at the table when my kids were younger, but now there is eight of us and our table is not big enough. I know it is a great opportunity for families to speak and discuss how their days went etc...

most of the time we do eat dinner at the table. and lunch on the weekends. breakfast is pretty much always in the living room.

The kids do all the time, but I sometimes eat breakfast and lunch standing up. Not good.

funny thing i dont eat at my dining table, i eat at my kitchen table, its better and more comfortable i guess.

Sometimes, but sometimes we eat infront of the TV. I know that has to change, but I guess sometimes I get lazy.
