Jesus and God are the same in purpose. Jesus does the will of his Father. He says, thy will not mine be done.

Jesus is the only Begotten Son of God, spiritually and physically.
God the Father, Elohim is his Father.

Jesus is also Jehovah. Under the direction of his Father Jesus (Jehovah) created the earth. He was also the most righteous spirit Son of God and became our Savior on earth. He fulfilled His mission and is seated at the right hand of God.

John 10:30 is often cited to try to support the Trinity, although no mention is made of any third person in that verse. There Jesus said: “I and the Father are one.” But did Jesus mean that he was God Almighty himself, just in a different form? No, that could not be since Jesus always said that he was God’s Son, inferior to Him and in subjection to Him. Jesus meant that he was one in thought and purpose with his Father. This can be seen at John 17:21, 22, where Jesus prayed to God that his disciples “may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us . . . that they may be one just as we are one.” Was Jesus praying that all his disciples would become one person? No, he was praying that they would be in unity, of the same mind and purpose, just as Jesus and God were.

The same idea is expressed at 1 Corinthians 1:10, where Paul states that Christians ‘should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among them, but that they should be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.’ So when Jesus said that he and his Father were one, he did not mean that they were the same person, just as when he said that his disciples should become one he did not mean that they were the same person.

Jehovah God himself leaves no doubt about the identity of his Son. Matthew’s Gospel account relates that after Jesus was baptized, “there was a voice from the heavens that said: ‘This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.’” (Matthew 3:16, 17) Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

no Jesus is God's only begotten son, meaning God made Jesus and through God Jesus made or created everyone else or everything else. Jesus said that My father is greater than I am

Same in purpose, but separate individuals as Christ's baptism made perfectly clear . . . plus all the prayers He said to His Father.

I have never understood the "transforming" God theory and why so few Protestants question this when the scriptures are so plain. The council to establish the trinity also established the Catholic Church. Seriously, if you believe the Christ had to be born to earth and an earthly mother to experience things as we do to take on our sins . . . who was in Heaven answering prayers when he was 6 weeks old or 6 years old?
