I thought it might be my bllod pressure, but it is running normal, and my eyes seem to be working fine. Is there any other reason?

A headache could be caused by lots of different factors. Food, stress, amount of water you drink, alcohol, eye strain, skipping meals, irregular sleep pattern, etc can all cause headaches. Headaches can also be a symptom, not the main problem

Some people find that their eyes give them headaches, like you suggested. Besides having an eye exam, make sure you give your eyes time to rest. Eyes can develop what's know as 'eye strain' when you read too long, or stare at a computer screen all day. Make sure you look out a window every few minutes and take frequent breaks while reading or on the computer to avoid eye strain.

Really bad headaches can sometimes be migraines. They suck! Please talk to your doctor if you have migrane symptoms (dizzy, nauseaus, sensitive to light and sound, flashing lights when you close your eyes (auras)). Your doctor can diagnose the migraines.

If they are migraines, there are lots of treatment options. I would recommend figuring out what causes your migranes. Women typically get them in association to their menstrual periods. Since you're a guy, they might be causes by a trigger food, stress, or not enough water. Some classic trigger foods are cheese, chocolate, alcohol, soda pop, coffee, tea, etc. Try to figure out what is causing your migraines, and avoid these problem foods.

Your doctor might prescribe you medication to take when you feel a migraine coming on. He/she also might prescribe meds to lower the occurance of your migraines.

I have both, and I am sooo grateful for the meds that keep me from getting the migraines. I went from having bad headaches 2-4 times a week to only 1, maybe 2 a month. The preventative treatments really work!!

Good luck, and be sure to talk to your doctor about your symptoms! Hope you feel better fast!

I get frequent headaches and viscious migrains....set up an appointment with a nuerologist....they will ask questions...possibly prescribe some preventive medications....if the head ache gets to bad where you can't take it anymore go to the ER....tell them you have a migrain.....most times they will give you 15 mg Phenegran and 25mg Nubain....just make sure you have somebody to drive you....Toradol is another good med

Yes, it could come from all sorts of things. What type of medications are you taking, foods are you eating, environmental toxins, medical conditions etc. You should go to your doctor and get a work up.
