If you rub the Buddha's belly, does a Jeanie pop out and you get three wishes? LOL
All kidding aside. Do you get good luck when you rub the Buddha's belly?

Yuck. If you rub the Buddha's belly you're touching dirt and bones and stuff.

Seriously, I don't believe so. Some do, but I don't believe that Buddha had any powers beyond the ability to think so rubbing anything is unlikely to influence the universe positively or negatively in my favor. It's all about attitude.

Thats the same thing as rubbing a rosary for luck. Just touching a 'holy' object doesn't necessarily bring you luck, but lots of people like to try.
