I am worried to use Optifast because it contains saccharine,that's the reason I am asking about side effects.

saccharine is a sugar substitute that's been in use since the turn of the century. Ever drink Diet soda? Yup, sacchrine. At least it used to be; I believe they've changed over recently.

if I inadvertaly eat anything with sacharine in it I get horrid stomach cramps.... other sugar substitutes do the same to me
