Not in the sense a human is "gay". There is a common genetic glitch called Kleinfelter's Syndrome. It is where a male cat/dog (or human) has XXY rather than XY for sex chromosomes. In humans it causes the guy to have a passive personality, soft muscle tone, and learning disabilities.

Cats can have the XXY glitch - and often that is how you get calico male cats. Those cats are often not really interested in sex with female cats, and they are also not too interested in males.

Dogs, being mammals can also have that chromosome glitch.

Kleinfelter DOES NOT make a human male "gay", but his personality will often be more female than male. Same is true with cats and dogs with the glitch.

I don't believe in God any more because of a tragic motor scooter and gun accident that blew off my left foot and three fingers. I often wonder that if I saw Bozo naked would I think that chocolate milk cannot be sold in stores in a plastic container, or could it? That is a very deep and philosophical question that many great people like Coach Ditka and Jesus could not answer when they went before a grand jury for illegal dancing in Utah. Just because Van Halen does not play at your grammar school dance doesn't mean that you have missed out in life or did something wrong. You have to move past those issues and begin to address the fact that Men are from Mars and Women are from Saturn. I once fed a dead rat to a blind man in a tossed salad and he was not happy with the dressing I picked for him. Do you ever reflect on the meaning of extra large shrimp or why plumbers don't lay plumbs when bricklayers lay bricks? Dance freely and don't forget to wear sunscreen when you go to the bowling alley. The government and aliens want you to stop smoking and you are just falling into their plan and trap. Think about all the people in the phone book that cannot play the piano or shoot a cross bow. Why is that? I cannot explain this to anyone unless they open their mind to free thoughts and the acceptance that dogs can teach humans to create a clean burning combustible engine to put in our automobiles. I do generally wear only women's orange panties when I cut the lawn in the morning. I think that is the best answer that I can provide with this limited amount of time and research.

There have been several documented cases of 'gay' animals, in fact there were male penguins at some zoo that would not mate because they were attracted to each other, they were endangered and had to be separated so that they would mate. Hilariously enough this brought out the gay rights protesters...

I think I know what you mean, but no. Cat's dog's or any other animal other than humans cannot be gay. At least in the way humans are.

Yes. All cats are gay. They started cloning themselves a long time ago.

Sort of. Male animals, especially squirrels, will turn "gay" when there are too few females in their neck of the woods. I have 2 male dogs now that have to female and they constantly get yelled at for trying to mount each other.

I don't know if female animals do that sort of thing, but I know cows (female - males are bulls, for you city folk ;o)) - anyway cows will 'mount' each other if they are in heat, but they aren't trying to have sex. Not real sure WHY they do that.......

Yes. Homosexuality is partially biologically based. It may be that the cat you speak of has a hormone deficiency/surplus. (Since I doubt very much that an animal's sexual preference is a learned behaviour).

Yeah. My old dead dog was a gay pub molestor. Not a joke. The pup died from some other complication. The old gay dog died of old age.
