There is a pattern here. If I take a particular stance on something, I am reported by someone who does not like to read an opposing point of view.
Well, I still DO NOT like illegal immigration, and I shall return after my account is suspended.
Yahoo! can delete a question or answer but cannot stop someone from opening another account from another location.
Goodbye, all, in the event I am suspended. But fear not! I shall return.
To all you pro illegals.............BITE ME.

Yahoo will generally not discontinue your account for expressing points of views. They will however if you express your point of views in an obscene or harassing manner, or a threatening or violent manner.
This was completely alright up until you told the pro illegals to "bite you" Although I doubt yahoo would ban you for that.
You really just have to keep a cool head in all your arguments and not resort to name calling and your account will be good to go. I have repeatedly voiced my opinion on drugs and how they should be legal.
How the government is getting to much power, how the patriot act is unconstitutional and a whole host of other controversial topics and I have yet to receive a warning or a banning from yahoo.
Follow the rules and Yahoo will be good to you.

Maybe if you did insult or use bad language or just post nonsense to get a raise out of people they wouldn't report you. I also am anti illegal and I have never been reported. And the PRO ILLEGALS CAN BITE ME TOO!!!

I'm sort of new to this and didn't realize that people were being malicious and using the "report abuse" button to punish someone that thinks differently than them. I hope that the powers at Yahoo are watching these patterns and taking action against those people that abuse this reporting process.

I'm sure it is not the disagreement that it the problem. How you express your disagreement is the bone of contention.
I don't like illegal immigration. According to national polls, most Americans are opposed to illegal immigration. So, it has to be your attitude, not your opinion.

I'm against the illegals too. If they wanna come here they need to do it the right way. I'm all about upholding the law ya know. I just don't understand why people think it should be allowed. It just doesn't make sense.

I have only reported people who obviously incite towards hatred. You should have the right to express your opinions, since I don't see how anti-immigration can be offensive; it is just a political stance, not a racial one.

Pick on muslims instead. I think it matters more what the people at Yahoo! think. I think the're pro-illegal immigration but anti-muslim. I'm brutal to the muslims, and haven't heard a peep.

I have never been reported, so I wouldn't know. Keep it clean, don't DIRECTLY insult people, and don't swear.
Yahoo is actually very good about checking "abuse". If it was a disagreement, they usually let it slide. If you directly insulted other participants (by screen name) or threatened violence, they usually give you a warning first, then suspension if it happens again.

I can't figure out if that's your position how you end up in the toilet with anti-illegals.
But you know the types of answers your've given and the questions, so don't be that surprised.
I think your smart enough to know the difference.
