I was raised Christian but had already decided that Christianity was not to be my path when I came across a family of Bah'a'is in Ohio where I grew up (many years ago now). They were an absolutely wonderful family who took me into their hearts and loved me as one of their own. I feel very blessed to have been introduced to the Bah'a'i Faith through them.

I never "converted" but it did help me in forming my own beliefs. Many of my personal spiritual beliefs can be traced to the writings of Baha'ullah and 'Abdu'l-Baha and I find the story of The Ba'b fascinating. I hope the History Channel does a piece on him someday. That family and the Bah'a'i Faith have played an important roll in my spiritual journey.

For many years I attended their Fire Side spiritual gatherings in their homes, participating in the ways that I knew how and reading from the writings of the people who inspired me (including lyrics from my favorite rock bands), sharing my beliefs with them as they shared theirs with me. They were a very open and caring group, and welcomed my outside influence into their routine. They often introduced me as "This is Michael, he is a friend to the Bah'a'is".

I have since concluded that no one religion sums it up for me and that I will probably never find one that will knock my socks off. The Unitarian Universalist Church probably comes closest (particularly the Universalist aspect). Or the Baha'i' Faith.

You can certainly find information about the Baha'i Faith at www.bahai.org. Baha'is believe in one God, one mankind, and that all the religions agree, in short. The only hardships - and I would rather call them challenges - I have ever experienced is being the lone island in a sea of diverse religions. Growing up, all of my friends were of different religions so I was able to certainly teach many different people about the Baha'i Faith.

With the new war in Haifa, many people have heard about the Baha'i gardens. If you have never seen them, I would recommend visiting www.nybahai.org/july9th/july9th_sc.html. They're absolutely beautiful, and the video was put together by our New York Baha'is.

Please keep asking questions until you have the answers you're looking for.

Perhaps you could post some links about what Bahai is? I've never heard of it...

Hm just googled it and it sounds very similar to what I believe, although in a different context.

I have read about all faith and religions but at the end I found the Baha'i faith the one that is for out day , and by being a Baha'i I am all others, as a Baha'i believes in all other religions too

I'm not quite what you asked for, but in my search for myself, I stumbled across bahai. However, it never came to much, so I decided that while it was a very worthwhile philosophy, it didn't answer my particular needs,
