Met a girl a few weeks ago (she 37, me 40). Had physical "fun" - on consecutive nights. Since then we have lunched, laughed, talked dirty, and told each other VERY intimate secrets, but she keeps saying she's got a bf - so no further. She went on hols with him today. We message each other hourly, text many times a day. She even texted me from the airport. It's doing my head in. Does she want me or not? I fear I'm just the reserve choice if it don't work out with her bf. We work at the same place buts it's a huge company. I am very fond of her. How can I tell if it's truly reciprocated?

She does want you, but just as a f***buddy. If that's ok with you I'd keep it going, but if it's a relationship you want, then I'd look elsewhere, 'coz she's not the one.

I am in a very similar situation, and in the same age group but a couple of years older. Co-worker the whole works, except I was the boy friend, and I caught her in bed with another co-worker. All along she told me she wanted me, but was seeing him when not with me. Now I have dumped her, and told the other co-worker about her and I, and he is undecided what to do because she has told him I am lying. The thing I can suggest is to get rid of her, and find someone that will be faithful and honest with you. I am also leaving this job because I can't stand to come into work and see her everyday. BTW, we had been seeing each other for almost a year. Good Luck, hope things work out for you, but I believe you are being used just like I was.

Do you really want a woman who is such a blatant cheat? What's to stop her getting together with you and doing the same again- I'm not a betting person but I'd put money on it.

I know it's hard to let go of someone you are so fond of but that's exactly what you have to do. Don't even bother with the ultimatums just completely ignore her, get a new sim card and forget to give her your new number. She has no qualms about 'dropping you at a hat' so why should you?

Come on you're old enough now to see where you're at.

I think you already figured it out. You are the reserve in case the current bf takes off or is not what she wants. Come on, she cheated on the bf with you. She's playing you both. Step back and take a cold shower. Look at her for what she really is.

Sound like you're her "spare". If things go wrong with her current boyfriend, she may be thinking of you as her next lover. Many girls are serial monogamists who, when they break up with their current boyfriend, already have a guy or two lined up to take his place within a week.

Don't fall for this crap. If she's willing to cheat on her current boyfriend, what's to stop her from cheating on you in the future?

Find a different chick.

Sorry Pal, forget it unless you are just after sex. Fun is fun and we all like it but she has her eyes on her bf, your just there more the likely for extra fun. You are not likely the only one that she is having fun with but who knows that for sure. When at work treat her as a co-worker and if you and her still later want to have a fling go for it JUST REMEMBER some-one is more the likely going to get hurt.
