They like a tease or stay with a girl who treats him like crap but then when the girl treats him nice and is devitedly in love with him, would he still love her? Perhaps more? Care more?

Men don't know it, but they love a challenge. I have had good relationships, because I have always been able to be "in control" and not let the guy control me.
They like teases because they don't give them what they want. Once you let a man have it, they move along because they are done with you. You are no longer interesting. You have given them the best of you. The way to keep them is to MAKE THEM WAIT. If they can't wait for you, then they never cared about you in the first place, unless they have a sexual problem, and then you should stay away from them anyways.
The way you say "when the girl treats him nice and is devotedly in love with him" makes me feel like you are talking about yourself and maybe you are giving this guy too much. If you are too nice, the male knows that he can walk all over you. Being too nice gets you no where. Women have to have a little control. Men won't admit that they like it, but THEY DO. Just remember that.
My tip was - make the man FEEL like the boss, but always remember that YOU are in control. You control your body, your feelings and there are MANY MANY fish in the sea. So if he doesn't like it, let him go.
If he comes back to you begging for you to be with him, wonderful. That feels good - give him another shot. If you never talk to him again. Oh well, there will be many more for you.

Some men like mean girls because its more of a challenge to keep them. Nice girls are just that, too nice. Now he may still love her if she falls in love with him and treats him nice, based on how the relationship goes. But I would wonder about a guy who like being treated like crap, sounds like some serious issues going on there. A "real" and "good" man likes women who are nice and respectful...not mean and bossy.

it's the same way with gals...they all say they want a nice guy, a good guy. But they snub almost every one of them for the bad boy, the punk, the loudmouth. Why? because people are stupid. I used to be the 'nice' guy...it got me nowhere. I guess people who are 'mean' usually just express their feelings or themselves more, and in such a way seem more confident. and that's a huge factor for being with someone...their confidence.
besides...it's so much more fun when you get that mean girl into bed and...well thats for adults only!
everyone is different, and some people do like the nice girls/guys, but relationships are give and take, and sooner or later if someone is always giving, they are gonna get annoyed if they aren't getting anything in return...no matter how nice they are.

Some don't understand the difference between being in love and stuck on stupid. It goes both ways for guys and girls. If a girl treats me like crap, she will be walking. Do for me and I will do three times as much for you. Why do some women stay with men that beat them and treat them like garbage?

Men like the chase and the excitement of not knowing what's going to happen next. He obviously isn't readly to settle down...IF we are talking about a specific individual. We want what we can't get and want to keep what walks away. It's all a natural part of self preservation and control. I'm sure you've been there. You ought to try finding someone who has already been through this stage so you don't have to deal with it.

Maybe because guys like a challenge! They crave it...nice girls are...well..."nice" they dont put up a fight! I dont agree with girls being mean or treating their guys like crap though.

bcuz guyz like a challenge! guys do dating as a game. they feel like someone that throws themselves to them is boring and a waste of time(except for that quick 30 minutes of whoopie!),and they dont get their points from their peers. guys like to get girls that everybody knows is a hastle because that makes his rep.(points) go up and the more points he earn the more hes known!
