ok people lol my son who is 10 asked me so I told him I'd ask you guys...

sikhs are a type of religion that requires that the men are protectors of god and must never cut their hair and must always carry a knife
(sword) this may be a small one but can create problems on airlines so i think they get to use a symbolic sword like maybe a tie clip or something
so it is a religious thing. like buddhist monks being baldand nuns wearing frocks
curiously all sikhs are named SINGH for their last name. so if you say hi mr singh you will be right.

There are some human beings in this technology who decrease & want others to call them Sikh.. yet in accordance to faith they don't. i experience Sikhs with turban under no circumstances decrease their hair. convinced they tie & take off their turban on a daily basis.

because they are Sikh. they beleive that the hair is part of the human body and is sacred and shouldnt be touched or damaged by a sharp instrument like scissors because is part of the body. it has nothing to do worshipping cows!!!
