I have the EXACT same problem ! I've been taking 2 acetaminophen a day. 1 before school and one after school. It's helped some, but I also have been eating soft foods like when you first got your braces and your orthodontist told you to eat pasta, oatmeal, soup, etc. so. yeah. the pain is most likely from your teeth's movement. hope your pain goes away! - Abby

Either, use a topical like Ora-gel or tuff it out until bedtime and take a couple of Tylenol PM's and start over tomorrow.

Call your orthodontist. If you just got them on, they will hurt for a while.
