It is the biggest four years of your life...I just graduated and I must say I have never felt a bigger relief...I am going to be honest with you, it is pretty tough. It is certainly no cakewalk. The students are really competitive (at least where I went, I went to a very famous high school). If you want to excel, it is going to take a ton of work. If you just want to get through, it's still going to be hard work. The peer pressure and teenage "problems" definitely don't help either. But just relax. That first day is always the hardest, then it gets easier and easier and before you know it, it's over. So make the best of it; make lots of friends and try your best to graduate near the top of your class. You'll thank yourself later for the memories you created for yourself. Good luck.

High School goes by quickly, then it's off to university. If you have areas of interest, be very vocal to your parents about it & any vocational counsellors at school, so that you can be guided in the areas you will be most happiest. Research grants & opportunities in advance for universities.

If you have any difficult teachers, who make it impossible for you to learn from them, let your parents know immediately, so that they can contact your school administrator & place you with someone who can teach. Not all teachers are gifted. Just because you are a minor, does not mean you have to accept inadaquate instruction. This is your life. Don't let someone else's inability handicap your education.

If you find it hard to study at home, go to the library. Point is: don't let anything distract you from learning & being at the top of your game. The world doesn't owe you a living or happiness — you have to make that for yourself.

Study hard, do your assignments first, then play. You'll have less worry & more fun in high school if you are prepared. "Opportunity favours the prepared mind." — Louis Pasteur. Don't ever forget that.

Romance is usually transient in high school, because as you begin to find yourself at a higher level of worldly experience & education at university & beyond, your needs in a partner will change. So, enjoy dating, but don't give away your heart in high school & regretfully get distracted — keep focussed on your studies & enjoy friends. Later, when you've found your way in life & feel stable, you can really focus on romantic committments, etc.

It's easy if you're smart, and yes, it is very important for later in life if you want to be successful.
It's important to make friends right away. I went to a really big high school so that was easy. That way, you and all your freshman friends will move up the years together. You'll find it easier than you think to make friends with higher grades too, which is also important. Just watch out for trashcanning! 'Tis the life of a senior. ;)

If you study and pay attention, it will be pretty easy for you. If you goof off and don't go to class, don't at least do most of what they ask you to do, it will be very hard.

I work for a school district so I see how hard it is for the students who don't put any effort into school. I am not saying that you have to be a perfect student, as long as you try you will be fine.

If you actually pay attention & do the work, it'll be pretty easy, although freshman year's pretty hard. The hardest I think is sophomore year, but seniors year's pretty easy (other than the college process)

It could be hard or it could be easy. It is how you apply yourself in study. If you do not apply yourself to the best of your ability you could be held back, or made to go to summer school for the subjects you did not pass and no one wants to miss vacation time.
So just put in your mind to study and pay attention to details. Also anything that you might be studying on tab it so that you can get to it quicker.
and also to show importance to study it.
If you need help in something do not be afraid to ask the teacher for help. that is what they are there for.
