If I wanted to take it to the nearest vet it would take at least 15 minutes but Ihad only 5 minutes.
In the other hand I don't want to kill an animal which have any chance .

These sites explain all about what to do for orphan and injured birds -

I've got a lot of links to wildlife carers from a lot of countries on my site, at
http://au.geocities.com/leaswebsite/links under "Wildlife Assistance" - just click on them all, click on your country and state, have a browse, 'phone them and ask their advice.
Very very best of luck in the future.

Dont even acknowledge that dick head (liitlemonk) msg what a tosser!
If u find a bird just keep it in a warm place, quiet as possible, more than likely birds who r not flying around in the air happily and r on the ground not moving to well as a pretty sure sign they will not live the next 24hrs
so get some more advice from a vet or something similar next time, get things together in a small container if this does happen again such as a towel, a normal bedside lamp without the shade to position over bird (not to close) to suspend above, to keep bird warm things like that.
Good luck

If you can see the thing is going to die, its best to put it out of its misery in my opinion. I'd rather die quick and painlessly that writhing in agony.. Other than that, I guess you could take it to a vet. We did that once with a bird, they checked it over and said it just needed recovery time. Best thing to do there is to put it in a box, darken it with a towel over it and leave it some bread and water overnight in a flat bowl. You can't really do much more for them, especially if they're little.
Its nice that you care so much though, keep that up :)

Contact a local wildlife rehabilitator. You can find one by contacting a local Audobon society or possibly through a local animal shelter or humane society.

If you are sure that it is going to die and that there is nothing that can be done...then just make it as comfy as possible. Like in a cool box on a towel in a quiet, calm, low-noise place. \

how bad is the damage? sometimes you can't do anything, others a vet is required. nature sometimes just has to run it's course.
