I'll be 27 next month; in a job that stresses me, but I ejnoy; looking to buy property right now. Been single for a long time (and found that the bloke I've been flirting with at work is still with the girlf that I thought he'd split with!). My time is filled with work, and I've moved away from friends. HOW DO YOU BAG A DECENT BLOKE (in Falkirk, Scotland!).

Mission impossible?

1.) Be trim. If you're overweight per BMI get to your target by no deserts, no white bread or other highly processed grains and be aware of calorie consumption.

2.) Develop a hobby outside of work where nice interesting "blokes" go. Ballroom dancing, scuba diving, volunteering, church. You want to be in a place where you and the guy are both having fun and not stressing over how you appear to each other.

3.) Try to do first dates during the day time - hiking, breakfast or brunch at a nice restaurant. If he offers dinner and a movie - counter-offer with a good day time activity. Too much stress in the dinner and the movie and then it's bed time and then you gotta decide whether to spend the night, hug good night, kiss good night, run away. Too complex.

Those are just my opinions. I was single until age 31 and shy about dating and these were the things that worked for me.

Me: married 15 years, three sons. :-)

Perhaps you should start frequently situating yourself in company that has a positive context, such as a volunteer organisation, religious organisation, or academic/professional organisation. Also, you might find a well-educated person in a bookstore that has a cafe. Another great place where you might meet a quality person would be at university--perhaps it's time to try some evening courses? If you are willing to try it, online dating offers an opportunity to find out more about someone before you even speak to them, allowing you to filter out idiots. The worst place you can expect to find a decent bloke is at a dance club, pub, bar, drinking party, rave, or any such setting involving alcohol or drugs.

The fact that the guy you were flirting with at work is still with his girlfriend is a waste of your time. It is not easy to meet any one good those days and it will take a lot of time.

It is not to say that they are not out there. I hope you find some one decent.

Have you tried a butterfly net? Bag a bloke, dear? If you are sending out signals like that, he will run a mile. You are not shopping for a new top. Rethink your attitude, is my advice.,

each man or woman's were provided that one particular man or woman,soul-mate possibly, yet who's easily-known with what it is? an how did you comprehend if that man or woman lives down the line or halfway round this large sq. planet,an in case you discover someone particular how did you comprehend it is the single without experiencing others!(oh pricey i look to have depressed myself again!!) there are good blokes obtainable, yet they only do not have a tendency to shout about it, no count number what champagne says!!! tell Vicky good success.

really just be yourself, cuz if youre not and u 2 hook up. eventually your real self will come out and he'll freak.

but dont be afraid to show affection with a dude. cuz alot of times guys flirt with a bunch of girls, but they cant tell if theyre flirting back, and if they can they cant tell if they really like him.

so yea. and do they really still say bloke in scotland?(anymore)

Don't go looking, it seems women give off a vibe when they're looking and attract the wrog guys! Be yourself, join some clubs where you can meet guys-gym or something ( the weekeneds when you're not at work) be yourself and he'll be right under your nose, when you really need him.

stop trying!!!!..27 is still young..believe me hun..blokes appreciate the chase...they dont want to bag someone whose already caught up in a myriad of confusion...they like a girl who has something in common with themselves...blokes are simple...we dont like complication
