Its a very nice vehicle, one which has one of the highest resale values in its class. 4runners run forever if they are well maintained. In your budget you should get one with about 150-175k miles, please make sure that you get all the maintenance receipts and preferably if you get a chance, buy it from a single owner.

Go to Edmunds.com to get a "true market value" for the car you are considering.

A lot of things come into consideration when buying a used car,
even something as reliably good as a Toyota. For me, and this approach has never steered my wrong, I look at the ownership of the vehicle. If the person has only had the car
two months, then I walk away. I want to buy from someone
who has a history with the car. I also take into account
what kind of person the seller is. I want someone who
seems decent all around. If they tell me they want to meet
in the parking lot of a grocery store in order to look at the car,
I tell them no thanks. You know what I mean, right?

What do you know about this car?

sure. it truly is an truly proper SUV. four wheel drive works large and intensely last continually. V6 is only 150hp yet that does no longer remember as torque is 240. it truly is what supplies performance. Hp supplies topend and ability to stay there. it truly is a low value. If sparkling carfax and timing belt replaced two times then get it. they look good with floor Hawgs in only the seventy 5-15 or 16 determination w/o raise.

Camellias is right on the money, it might be a good idea to get a carfax report also.
