Did she move them or did you move them? Or are you asking if you should move them?

Leave them alone. Mommy-cat knows what's she's doing. She's following instinct and putting them where she thinks is safest. She'll likely move them another time or two. Almost all kitties do this -- it's nothing personal. She's just trying to keep her babies safe, and in the wild they would move them frequently to keep a predator from finding them.

When she comes out to eat the food you put out for her, follow her back to where she is keeping them, but at a distance. While the kittens are still tiny you don't need to bother them as the mother is just trying to protect them. When they get older, though, you must pick them up and play with them, GENTLY, so they can be socialized. That means that they need to get used to a human's touch while they are still young or they will become wild and unapproachable.
Be careful with the babies and good luck!

Nothing. The mother cat is moving her babies to a safe place. She wants to make sure that she can protect her offspring from predators (mean humans, dogs, etc.). By protecting her offspring she is making sure that her offspring live long enough to pass on her genes to future generations (a genetics thing).

Your cat knows best. She moves the kittens by instinct to protect them from male cats. Male cats who are not the father will kill the kittens. In this case mom knows best.

She probably moved them beacuse people were touching them too much. Wait until they are older and make sure the mother feels secure before you pet them again.
